The company also sells a bespoke range of site surveying tools and aims to educate installers and end users in how to supply customers with accurate, reliable information and create optimised systems rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. The Solar Design Company Ltd was founded in 1993 by Chris Laughton, Managing Director. He supervises a small team of people located at an old refurbished slate quarry railway building. Chris Laughton also produces specialist technical editorials for trade publications and is a well known author and lecturer.
